It has always been a primary focus of Project Canefire to show the Love of God to the people with which we work. We do this through caring for their needs and sharing the gifts given to us.

Basis life skills of sharing, goal setting, budgeting, community organization, problem solving, effective communication, anger management, workplace safety and conflict resolution to name a few are taught by our teams. Forming committees to evaluate and maintain the communities' resources including well repair and water distribution are essential to long term health and success, while building key skills for work and life.

Every trip we have been blessed to bring with us bibles and other literature which has been handed out in the villages where we are working.

For the children, we have been providing books and basic educational supplies - such as paper and pencils.
